Uplink Port
The uplink port is used for higher-tier connections to more
advanced switches or other network devices. Please note that if
you are using the uplink port, you will be unable to use port one
as these two ports are logically linked.
Note:
A crossover cable must be used when connecting
from the uplink of another switch or a hub to the
uplink port on the 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch.
