Default
The default Hello interval is 20 seconds.
Default user alive interval is 250 seconds

Configure the alive detection timer for the client. You can use the
show dot1x
command to show the 802.1x setting.
Examples
The following example sets the Hello interval to 30 seconds and the
alive interval to 120 seconds:

dot1x probe-timer interval
30
DES-7210(config)#
dot1x probe-timer alive
120
DES-7210(config)#
