External Oscillator ENBUS Register
The ECO_ENBUS register is used to disable and enable the external crystal oscillator (ECO). In the table above, note that
reserved bits are grayed table cells and are not described in the bit description section. Reserved bits should always be writ-
ten with a value of ‘0’. See the
Application Overview on page 70
for the proper sequence for enabling the ECO.

ECO_ENBUS[2:0]
These bits should be written with a value of 011b to allow the ECO to be enabled by bits in the
ECO_CFG register, or a value of 111b (default) to disable the ECO. Other values in this register are
reserved.
