   Introduction

The Cypress Color Corrector, Model CCR-8, has been
designed for the professional videographer who wants to
adjust a video signal to achieve the best possible viewing
of video tapes.This allows you to enhance
bright or dark videos and adjust for color balance problems
on your home movies.

The CCR-8 has the following features

1. Suitable for worldwide video system:
    NTSC 3.58/NTSC 4.43/PAL/PAL N/PAL M/SECAM input auto detection.
2. Selectable output system between NTSC and PAL.
3. Digital decoding and comb filter eliminates color noise and 
    ensures best picture quality.
4. On-Screen-Display menu control.
5. R,G,B adjustment for achieving a correct white balance.
6. Restores sync and color burst.
7. Adjustable controls on Brightness, Contrast, Color, Sharpness and Tint.
8. Direct input source select.

Hook-up

When you want to use the CCR-8 and record the improved video, connect the 

CCR-8 between the video output of your playback VCR or camcorder and the 

video input on your recording VCR.When you want to directly view the results, 

connect the CCR-8 between the video output of your playback VCR or 

camcorder and the video input on your TV.

The diagram below shows how to connect between either a camcorder or VCR 

and a recording VCR.

Step 1:

 Plug the 7.5 VDC plug into the CCR-8 and the adapter into a standard

             AC outlet.   

Step 2: 

Connect the video outputs of the playback VCR or camcorder to one 

             of the four Video inputs on the CCR-8 . You can use any one of the 

             composite or s-video connections to match the output of the VCR.

Step 3: 

Connect the audio output of the playback VCR or camcorder to the 

             audio input on your recording VCR.

Step 4: 

Connect the video output of the CCR-8 to the video input of the 

             recording VCR.

   Standby / Power Select:

 When power adapter is pluged in, the CCR-8 enters into standby mode, 

 the Standby LED illuminates.The unit can be further powered on by 

 pressing the power button either on the remote or on the front panel.

 Press the POWER button to turn on the machine. The Standby LED goes off

 and one of the input indicators illuminates.The unit is in operation mode.

 Press the POWER button again to re-enter into standby mode.

 To entirely power off the unit please unplug the power adaptor.

   Input Source Select: Press one of four input buttons to select your 

   desired video input source

Red/ Green/ Blue Adjustment

     Red- Fine adjustment of the balance of the red color in the picture
     Green- Fine adjustment of the balance of the green color in the picture 
     Blue- Fine adjustment of the balance of the blue color in the picture
