Step 1: Position the unit in the rack
Select the proper holes in the rack for positioning the unit in the
rack. Insert the cage nuts (Not needed for threaded rack)

CAUTION!
It is strongly recommended to have an additional
person assist with this installation process if the UPS or module is
heavy.
CAUTION!
It is strongly recommended that the 2 post rack be
bolted to the floor prior to the installation of the UPS or module.
CAUTION!
2POSTKIT can be used with 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U, 5U and up
equipment but the weight cannot exceed 202 lbs.
CAUTION!
One kit needed for each UPS or module. The technician
should not stack other UPS units or modules on top of the first unit
or module without using any mounting hardware or additional
2-post kits.
2-POST RACKMOUNT KIT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
This manual contains important instructions that should be
followed during installation of this 2-post rackmount kit
(2POSTKIT) into 2-post rack, along with the placement of a UPS or
other modules.
CAUTION!
It is strongly recommended that the UPS or module be
installed with the kit at the bottom of the rack.
CAUTION!
Prior to installing the UPS or other module, remove
internal batteries to reduce the weight of the UPS or other module.
Refer to the battery replacement section in the related user
manual for instructions.
