STABILITY - ADVANCED STABILITY MODULE – GLOBAL
3.1
FUNCTION
This parameter sets the function of the ASM.
The programmable options are Accelerometer, Tilt and Both.
If set to Accelerometer the ASM will operate as a drive stability module.
If set to Tilt, the ASM will operate as a tilt module.
If set to Both, the ASM will operate as both a drive stability and a tilt module.
3.2
ORIENTATION
Orientation sets the expected mounting of the ASM with respect to the forward driving direction of the wheelchair. There are
eight programmable options. If this parameter is not programmed to the correct setting an orientation error will be reported.
3.3
NULL CALIBRATION
The ASM can be programmed to remove a small forward/reverse tilt offset when the module is mounted on a surface which is
not perpendicular or parallel to the ground (in the forward-reverse plane). The offset can be read in the ASM status window of
the PC programmer. A minus reading in the status window can be offset by entering the opposite value for his parameter. E.g.
