7.1.1 USING A KEYPAD SEQUENCE
To enter OBP using a keypad sequence:
Hold down the Profile button and then hold down the On/Off button until there is a short beep. Note, the normal
power-up sound will occur prior to this beep.
Release the Profile button, but continue to hold down the On/Off Button until there are two further short beeps.
Release the On/Off button, there will be a longer beep and OBP Mode will be entered.
After the sequence has been performed and while the system remains switched on, the Mode button can be used to
sequence through all system Modes and to return to OBP Mode. If the system is powered-down or there is no OBP activity for
5 minutes, then the keypad sequence will need to be performed again.
7.1.2 USING THE R-NET DONGLE
To enter OBP using the R-net Dongle:
Turn off the control system.
Connect the Dongle either between any of the system modules or into any spare communications connector.
Turn on the control system.
Use the Mode button to step to OBP Mode.
While the Dongle remains connected, the Mode button can be used to sequence through all system Modes and to return to
OBP Mode.

PC PROGRAMMING
The Omni2 can be programmed using any R-net PC Programming tool. Refer to the Programming chapter for further details.

PROGRAM THE OMNI2 TO MATCH THE SID

The Omni2 is compatible with six types of SID.
1. Joystick and User Switch
2. Five Switch and User Switch
3. Three-Axis Proportional and User Switch
4. Three-Axis Switch and User Switch
5. Sip and Puff Device and User Switch
6. Single Switch Scanner
The User Switch provides a means of changing Profiles and Modes, an emergency-stop function and a means of putting the
Omni2 to sleep. It is also possible to use most of the SID types without a User Switch. Refer to the Using the Omni2 without a
User Switch section for further details.
