The vehicle is going to stall in traffic
shortly!
The vehicle can still be started
twice
and moved a short distance at
a maximum speed of 7 km/h (4 mph).
The comfort function of the air conditioning
are restricted.

When traffic conditions permit, move to the
right hand side of the road and park the vehi-
cle safely, or drive to a charging station if possi-
ble.
When the power increases again, the control
lamp goes out.
Driving is not possible
The high voltage battery temperature is
too low
The control lamp turns on before the drive sys-
tem is switched on.
The control lamp lights up red.
A message is displayed in the Digital Cockpit.
An audio signal sounds.
If driving with very low power, the vehicle
could stall in traffic!
Only manoeuvring is possible (at a speed of up
to 7 km/h [4 mph]).

When the state of charge of the high-voltage
battery is low, charge it

If you are planning to depart with low outside
temperatures, CUPRA recommends pre-heat-
ing the vehicle while it is parked
Doing so also heats up the high-voltage bat-
tery. This increases the power available directly
after switching on the drive system.
Please note the behaviour of the Digital Cock-
pit’s power indicator.

The control lamp switches on yellow.
A message is displayed in the Digital Cockpit.
An audio signal sounds.
The power drops considerably and may be re-
duced further.
The comfort functions of the air conditioning
are restricted

When the state of charge of the high-voltage
battery is low, charge it.
When the outside temperature is very high or
low, the high voltage battery heats up or cools
down while driving. The power increases again
after a certain amount of time.

Some vehicle functions are activated when the
driver approaches the vehicle with the corre-
sponding key.
Switching on the ignition

: press the ignition/start button once. The
ignition/start button is located on the right
hand side of the steering column.
