Using Preset Cooking
(If the current time is 8:00 p.m., and the cooker is preset to 8:00 a.m. for the Sticky Plain Rice menu item.)

Set the lid lock to the locked position in the standby mode and press the
[PRESET/AUTO CLEAN] button.
Before closing the lid, make sure that the clean cover is attached. If the clean cover is not attached, the
product does not recognize the lid lock, and its preset timer function does not work.

Use the dial to preset the cooking time and press the [SET] button.
•
Turn the dial counterclockwise to decrease the number by 10 minutes.
Turn the dial clockwise to increase it by 10 minutes.
•
The preset time is the time when you want the cooking to be finished.
•
You can preset the time to up to 13 hours after the current time.
•
After the preset cooking is complete, the preset time remains in the memory.
When setting the time, make sure to check a.m. and p.m.
The factory default preset time is 7:30 a.m.

Use the dial to select the menu item.
•
You can use preset cooking only for Sticky Plain Rice, Well-cooked Plain
Rice, Porridge, Frozen Rice, Mixed Grains, Iron Pot Rice, Stone Pot Rice,
Brown Rice, Plain Quick, and Mixed Quick.
•
If you turn the dial counterclockwise:
Sticky Plain Rice → Well-cooked Plain Rice
→ Plain Quick → Mixed Quick → Porridge → Frozen Rice
are selected in this order.
•
If you turn the dial clockwise:
Sticky Plain Rice → Frozen Rice → Porridge →
Mixed Quick → Plain Quick → Well-cooked Plain Rice
are selected in this order.
•
You can select
Mixed Grains, Iron Pot Rice, Stone Pot Rice, and Brown
Rice
immediately by pressing the corresponding button.

Press the [COOK/OK] button to finish the settings.
•
Once the preset timer is started, the cooking completion time is displayed.
•
The last preset time remains in the memory after cooking is completed.
•
The time when the preset cooking is finished may vary by up to 30
minutes depending on the menu item and amount of rice.
If 25 seconds have elapsed or if you press the [CANCEL] button, the preset timer is
canceled.
How to Use Preset Cooking
Caution
•
If the current clock setting is incorrect, the preset timer will not be accurate.
•
