Keyboard Port
The P1 PowerStation’s CPU board includes a keyboard port that accepts
any IBM AT compatible keyboard, including 84-key standard keyboards
and 101-key enhanced keyboards. Connect the keyboard to the PowerSta-
tion using the supplied keyboard adapter cable.
Note
PC/XT keyboards will NOT function on the PowerStation.
Connecting a PS/2 mouse
If you prefer to use a mouse instead of the touch screen, CTC recommends
that you use a Microsoft PS/2 style mouse with the supplied keyboard
adapter cable. Using this cable allows the PowerStation to accept input
from both the keyboard and the mouse. Connect the keyboard adapter
cable to the keyboard port on the PowerStation.
Ethernet Port
The P1 PowerStation has an Ethernet RJ-45 port that you can use to
connect the PowerStation to a Local Area Network. This port is software
compatible with the NE-2000 protocol and supports all major network
operating systems.
