IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
observed including the following:
-Before connecting your equipment, check if voltage of your power system
corresponds to the same specified on the appliance.
-To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put cord, plug, base in water or
other liquids.
-Never connect two or more appliances in the same plug.
-When not in use, unplug the equipment.
-Avoid starting equipment without the aluminium knee (drawing n.7) in place.
-Avoid contact with moving parts because blade is sharp. "Handle
carefully".
-Keep hands and utensils out of the knee while crushing to prevent the
possibility of severe personal injury and or damage to equipment. A plastic
spatula may be used but only when electric motor is "NOT RUNNING".
-For any maintenance unplug the equipment for power outlet.
1- Check if the aluminium knee is correctly and firmly assembled on the flange (n.1) and if
the three screws (n.11) are well tighten in the existing chanel of the flange (n.1) keeping
the knee very well fixed.

DO NOT INTRODUCE YOUR HAND INTO THE KNEE. RISK OF SERIOUS INJURIES.
OPERATION
- This is a equipment projected to crush ice rocks. You can have good results in other kind of
application.
- Break the big ice rocks in size that you can introduce into the knee.
- Place a recipient under the knee outlet.
- Turn on the equipment, lift up the arm(n.8) and introduce the pieces of ice. As the inside of
the knee is filled, lower down the arm to force the ice rocks towards the blade.
- If the electric motor stops, alleviate the force on the arm to permit the motor to run again.
- Do not leave the equipment running without an attendant.
- Use the equipment only on plain and stable surfaces.
NEVER TOUCH THE BLADE EVEN IF THE EQUIPMENT IS TURNED OFF.
CLEANING
- Cleaning should be done daily, after the use. For use only with ice, dry it with a soft cloth.
- If other products are used, clean the equipment with a wet cloth and dry it later.
-To disassemble the knee, unplug the equipment from power outlet and loosen the three
screws (n.11). The knee can now be removed and immerse in water for easy cleaning.
