4.6. "Loop" Menu

Loop
" menu is designed for managing loops:
Loop
Mode: Normal; Sensor=Open
Link: 8448 kbps, Ok, Cable cross V.35
DTR, RTS, ETC, DSR, CTS, CD, RXC
1. Link loop: Disabled
2. Remote link loop: Disabled
3. Port loop...
4. Tributary loop...
Command: _
The following loops are implemented:
•
"Link loop"
– local loop on the link. When loop is "Enabled", data received from the
link port are turned back;
•
"Remote link loop"
– remote loop on the link. When it is switched in "Enabled"
state, request is sent towards the link, to enable loop in the link port of the remote
multiplexer;
•
"Port loop..."
– switches to E1 port loop management menu;
•
"Tributary loop..."
– switches to E1 port tributary loop management menu.
Loop modes are not stored in nonvolatile memory.
