NOTE:
Favourites is a user-currated list from all patches loaded on the
Organelle's currently selected patch storage location. By default this location is
the microSD card. It can also be a properly formatted USB drive (not included). If
you eject a USB drive containing patches and Favourites, your Favourites will be
set to the microSD card's Favourites.
Extra Menu
This menu may contain additional user defined functions for the Organelle. Some
extended techniques for the Organelle programming can be configured and accessed via
the
Extras
section of the
System
menu. By default this section will be empty.
3.4 Organelle's Default MIDI Setup
The way the Organelle handles MIDI will be relevant to all users, even if you are mainly
pressing the unit's own maple keys to trigger note messages. There are certain default
MIDI assignments in the Organelle patches that you should know.
The most simple MIDI configuration is to use the 1/8" MIDI jacks to send or receive notes
or MIDI clock with another instrument. By default a patch running on the Organelle will
send and receive MIDI on the 1/8" jacks. It is also possible to use class compliant USB MIDI
devices.
NOTE:
As the Organelle is an open platform, it is possible for a patch to ignore
these MIDI settings and send and receive MIDI directly as it pleases. These are
the settings by default, but if you are experiencing something di
ff
erent, please
review any documentation about the patch you are running.
