TCP/IP Connection via Crestron Toolbox
1. For TCP/IP, use CAT5 straight through cables with 8-pin RJ-45
connectors to connect the LAN port on the control processor and the
LAN port on the PC to an Ethernet hub. Alternatively, you can use a
CAT5 crossover cable to connect the two LAN ports directly, without
using a hub.

2. Once the cable connections are made, open Crestron Toolbox. Click
Tools | Manage Address book
to display the “Address Book” window
and enter the new address name. Then click
TCP
as the connection
type. Enter the IP address or hostname of the control processor.
