Input Blades 

DigitalMedia input blades for the DM-MD64X64 include the following: 

 

DMB-I-S, 8-channel DigitalMedia 8G fiber input blade (is shown below) 

 

DMB-I-S2, 8-channel DigitalMedia 8G single-mode fiber input blade (refer 
to page 37) 

DMB-I-S 

The DMB-I-S is an input blade that provides eight DM 8G fiber inputs. Each DM 8G 
fiber input enables the connection of a DM 8G fiber transmitter or the output of 
another DM switcher. One multimode fiber optic strand is required per input, each 
supporting distances up to 1000 feet (300 meters) using CresFiber

®

 8G multimode
