TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The Heart Rate Watch is not showing the distance I travelled correctly.
Causes and solutions
−
The stride length for walking and running have not been correctly set. Re-enter the stride
length as described in chapter “Training zone, heart rate alarm and stride length settings”.
−
You have selected a different walking and running tempo than when entering your stride
length.
−
Shuffling gait, bad footwear and uneven terrain have led to inconsistent measuring.
−
Climbing hills or stairs has led to a lower distance measurement as the watch is only suitable
for activity on flat surfaces.
Problem
The Heart Rate Watch is not working correctly.
Causes and solutions
−
Your heart rate is under 40 beats per minute.
−
Make sure the strap is not too tightly or loosely fastened. Ideally, place the watch behind the
wrist bone.
Problem
The display light is not working.
Causes and solutions
−
Charge the Heart Rate Watch battery.
Problem
The battery is not charging.
Causes and solutions
−
Connect the charger cable as described in the chapter “start-up”.
−
Make sure that the USB connection that you plugged your Heart Rate Watch into has a
source of electricity.
Problem
No display
Causes and solutions
−
The Heart Rate Watch could possibly be switched off. Press and hold any button for approx. 2
seconds to switch the watch on.
The battery could possibly be empty. Charge the battery.
The contrast is possibly set too low. Turn up the contrast (see chapter “basic settings”).
Problem
Display is dark
Causes and solutions
−
The Heart Rate Watch could possibly be overheating (sunlight, surrounding temperature too
high). Leave the watch to cool down.
