OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
ECCENTRIC TYPE FLARING TOOL

Uses: Suitable for soft copper tube, aluminum tube and other soft tubes, etc.

1) Turn both yoke and clamp handles counter-clockwise until yoke slides freely. Move yoke to
far end of flaring bar up against the stop screws (Fig. 1).
2) Spread flaring bar and insert tube into hole that corresponds to tube diameter. Close bar
and position tube approximately 1mm above horizontal plane of flaring bar (Fig 2 & Fig.3).
3) Slide yoke above tube, align red arrow on yoke with positioning mark on flaring bar. Turn
clamp handle clockwise to tighten and secure (Fig. 4).
4) Use supplied ratchet or manually turn yoke handle clockwise until clutch releases.
Continue to turn another 2-3 revolutions (Fig. 5).
5) Turn yoke handle counter-clockwise until free from flared tubing. Loosen clamp handle and
slide yoke to end of flaring bar. Spread flaring bar and remove tube (fig. 6).
*Always wear eye protection and hand gloves when working with hand tools.
