Appendix B 

Setup & Remote Control Software 

This Appendix describes operation of the Hub Mount MPA with the CPI 
supplied “Setup & Remote Control Software”. 
The program (remote.exe) is supplied along with this manual on a single 
floppy disk and will run in DOS mode on any IBM compatible PC. To install 
the program, simply copy it (remote.exe) to your local disk drive or run the 
program directly from the supplied floppy. 
 

Starting the program 

Make sure the MPA is connected via either an RS232 or RS422/485 cable to 
the computer. See chapter 2 for more information. 
To run the program, either create an icon (in windows mode) or type in the 
command “remote.exe” at the dos prompt (in the directory the program was 
installed). 
The startup CPI screen will appear as shown in figure B-1.
