CowboyStudio Continuous Lighting Kit Setup Instructions
This document contains step-by-step instructions for setting up one of our continuous lighting kits. Your
kit should include:
•
One (1) light stand
•
One (1) soft white umbrella
•
One (1) ac light socket
•
One (1) compact fluorescent
light bulb
The exact contents of your kit may
vary based upon your order. Refer to
Figure 1 for the items included in the
instructional kit.
Step 1: Remove the protective cap from the top of the
light stand as shown in Figure 2.
Step 2: Loosen the wing nut at the top of the light stand
legs by turning counterclockwise as shown in Figure 3.
Expand the legs so that the light stand will stand up on its
own, and then tighten the wing nut.
Step 3: Open the flip locks on the light stand joints to
allow the light stand sections to move freely. Raise and
lower the sections of the stand to the desired height, and
close the flip locks to hold the sections in place. Refer to
Figure 4 for a detailed look at these locks.
At this point, the light should stand on its own at your
desired height, as illustrated in Figure 5.
