Service specifications
Self-test capabilities Automatic power-on self-test (POST): Verifies integrity of electronics.
Short self-test (SST): An abbreviated version of EST to be run by the operator. Characterizes
system leaks and system/tubing compliance.
Extended self-test (EST): Lets the technician thoroughly test the operational integrity of
the ventilator, both electronics and pneumatics. Tests can also be run individually, in
diagnostic EST mode.
Automatic, ongoing software and hardware checks.
Bacteria filter efficiency Inspiratory and expiratory filters (disposable and reusable): 99.97% retention of 0.3
