OPERATING PARAMETERS
This section provides an overview of all the operating parameters that can be configured individually
on each LEMCOM module (master and secondary). The parameter settings can be defined in the
LEMCOM Manager or by sending SDO commands (see section
PARAMETER
DESCRIPTION
COMMENT
L1
Part gripped threshold
Vacuum threshold that generates the “Part
gripped” signal.
Default unit: vacuum percentage (from 0
to 99%)
Other units (inHg/mbar) are available in
LEMCOM Manager.
h1
Part gripped hysteresis
Vacuum dropout difference leading to the
disappearance of the “Part gripped” signal.
L2
ASC control threshold
Vacuum threshold leading to automatic
deactivation of the suction command (ASC
control system).
h2
Hysteresis at ASC control threshold
Vacuum dropout difference leading to suction
being resumed.
Automatic
blowing
Automatic blowing function
Triggered automatically as soon as the
suction command is stopped.
Automatic
blowing duration
(ms)
Duration of automatic blowing, configurable
from 100 to 9999 ms.
ASC
Vacuum control system (Air Saving Control)
Compressed air saving function from 60
to 99%. The control threshold is set by
parameter L2.
DIAG/E
Control system assessment function (DIAG
ECO)
DIAG ECO is used to prevent unwanted
triggering of the control in case of vacuum
leakage (porous part).
Switch over to continuous suction as soon
as the number of bounces of the vacuum
solenoid valve exceeds the “
Max. no. of
bounces”
over the “
DIAG/E assessment
time”
period.
Max. no. of
bounces
Maximum number of control system bounces
before switching over to continuous suction.
DIAG/E
assessment time
Assessment duration of control system
bounce count.
Client LED
Blue customizable LED
Defines the operating mode of the blue LED
on the front of the LEMCOM module.
Refer to section
about operating modes.
Valve status
Operation of Venturi pump in case
communication is lost
Safety feature used to define the status of the
vacuum and blowing solenoid valves in case
communication is lost on the field bus (master
module) or the local bus (secondary module).
Refer to section
about operating modes.
