USE 

 

 

Carefully instruct all users of the device on how to operate it, its application purposes 
and the risks incurred.  

Make sure this manual is read and understood by all users of the device. 

 

The device shall only be used by adults who have been carefully instructed on how to 
operate it and are well informed on possible dangers and risks incurred when using the 
device. 

All users must always have a copy of this User Manual available when operating the device 
and  have  read  and  understood  all  specific  indications  stated  on  the  label  of  the 
disinfectant used. 

 

2.1 INTENTED USE  

 

Counterfog®  PILAR  is  intended  for  decontamination,  disinfection  and  sanitization  of 
buildings, indoor facilities, offices, vehicles, goods or objects. 

 

Risk of Damage! 

Breathing fogs or mists of chemical substances or disinfectants may be toxic  

Contact of chemical substances or disinfectants with skin, mouth or  mucous must be 
avoided.

 

Before using 

Counterfog® PILAR

 clear the zone removing all unprotected people, sensible 

objects or those incompatible with the liquid substance to be fogged.  

Users must wear protective devices according to the substance selected. Typically, it will 
include a full-face mask with filters protecting against the chemicals used in addition to a 
specific protection against the biological agents present in the environment: protective 
suit, gloves and shoes.  

Follow the safety instructions of the manufacturer of the liquid to be fogged.
