Safety
• The surge suppressor should only be connected to
an earthed indoor wall socket.
• Check that all connected devices are rated at
the same mains supply voltage (230 V 50 Hz).
• Make sure that the electrical socket that the product
is plugged into is easily accessible in case it
and the connected product need to be quickly
disconnected from the mains electricity.
• Do not connect products of this type to each other.
• Do not cover the product.
Note:
The surge suppressor’s switch should be in
the on position

and be lit for the outlets to carry current
and be operational.
Note:
The green (PROTECT) indicator must be lit in
order for the surge suppressor feature to be operational.
If the green (PROTECT) indicator does not light, this
indicates that the surge suppressor feature is no longer
operational. The device will continue to function as
a standard extension lead but
no
surge protection will
be provided to any connected devices.
Product description
• The surge suppression feature is designed to protect
connected devices during e.g. thunder storms.
Note!
The surge suppression feature will not protect
against near or direct lightning strikes.

• Equipped with two varistors, a gas discharge tube
and two fuses.
• Protection status indicator.
• On/off switch. Turns the outlets on and off.
• Wall bracket.
Operating instructions
1. Check that all devices to be connected to the surge
suppressor are first turned off.
2. Check that the surge suppressor’s switch is also
turned off (

) before plugging the devices into
the sockets in the surge protector.
3. Plug the surge suppressor into a wall socket.
4. Switch the surge suppressor’s power switch to
the on position

. The switch and green (PROTECT)
indicator should be lit.
5. Switch on the connected device/s.
