NOTE: Encoder 3 (JPEG) must be enabled in order for FTP to be possible.
FTPSERVER <server IP address>
This command sets the FTP server IP address. This is the address of the computer, which is
designated as the file server for the JPEG image storage location.
FTPPORT <port number>
This command configures the port number of the associated with the IP address of the server
FTPPERIOD <time in seconds>
The number set by this command will serve as the timer for taking the JPEG snap shot picture.
FTPLOGIN <login name>
The dialog for logging into the file server requires a login name. This command supplies that
name during the login dialog.
FTPPASSWORD <login password>
The dialog for logging into the file server requires a password. This command supplies that
password during the login dialog.
FTPDIR <directory path>
After the login dialog is completed, a location for storing the JPEG pictures must be identified.
This command tells the server where to store the JPEG images.
FTPFILE <name>
This command tells the server what the file name is for the JPEG images.
SAP Settings
The encoder is capable of multicasting SAP (Session Announcement Protocol RFC-2974) packets
with SDP (Session Description Protocol RFC-2327) content. There are a number of parameter settings
for configuring SAP. They are presented in this section. The user should refer to the referenced RFCs to
understand the significance of the SAP/SDP parameter settings.
SAP
This command is used to enable or disable the SAP multicast. ON or OFF are the permitted
parameters.
Default: OFF

SAPAUTHOR
This command is used to set the SDP (RFC-2327) author information. The parameter is an
ASCII string with a limitation of 30 characters.
