The analog input circuit (Figure 2-16) receives analog
torque or velocity commands from the controller in the
range of ± 10V. The differential configuration reduces
common mode noise.

Digital input commands, the same use with stepper
motors, can be used to command position. See the
waveforms (Figure 2-17). Electronic gearing can be
used to ratio the input command.
