BATTERY OPERATED BRONZE FINISHED OUTDOOR CLOCK.
THERMOMETER:
The thermometer is designed as a guide to measuring the temperature to /- 3° C.
The thermometer may need to be re-calibrated after transit.
This is simply carried out by:
Hold the coil movement casing at the rear of the thermometer firmly.
Then slowly twist it in an anti-clockwise direction to read a higher temperature and
clockwise direction to read a lower temperature.
Temperature readings should only be taken when the thermometer is in the shade.
CLOCK:
The hands on the clock may come loose from their spindle fixing during transit.
This is a design feature to protect the mechanism from damage in transit.
Firstly push the hour hand back into its spindle, followed by the minute hand.
Once the hands have been pushed back into place they should be manually positioned to read
12 o-clock before following the next steps.
1.
Remove the rear battery compartment cover by gently pulling it away from the casing.
2.
Insert 1x1.5v AA battery (not included) into the battery compartment, noting the polarity.
3.
Adjust the time by turning the wheel on the movement in the required direction until the
current time is displayed.
4.
Refit the rear battery cover.
