APPLICATION
The SFA6(SS) Slipfitter Adapter is for use:
•
Where a pole top mounted floodlight is required.
•
With Crouse-Hinds SWB6 and SWB6 SS Wall Mount
Bracket when horizontal (radial) adjustment of a surface
or wall mount floodlight is required.
The SFA6 will accept the following Crouse-Hinds yoke (trunnion)
mount floodlight luminaires:
•
F2MV, FMV, FMV1000 Series, FMVL, and Champ
®
Voyager
nR Series Stainless Steel Floodlight
•
FZD and EVMA-S812 Series
The SFA6 SS will accept the following Crouse-Hinds yoke
(trunnion) mount floodlight luminaires:

Voyager nR Series Stainless Steel Floodlight
•

®
LED Series Luminaires, Suffix S812
•

WARNING
To avoid electrical shock:
•
Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during
installation and maintenance.
•
The floodlight used with the SFA6(SS) slipfitter adapter
must be supplied by a wiring system with an
equipment grounding conductor.
•
Use proper supply wiring as specified on the floodlight
nameplate.
INSTALLATION
Mounting
1.
Using the ½" bolts, nuts, and lock washers provided,
securely fasten the floodlight yoke to the vertical flange on
the SFA6(SS) slipfitter. Torque the bolts to 45 lbs.-ft.
NOTE
: Angular positioning of the floodlight will be done later.
2.
Place the SFA6(SS) slipfitter adapter with the secured
floodlight onto either the 2":
•
Pole top tenon
•
SWB6 or SWB6 SS wall mount bracket elbow.
3.
Secure by tightening the slipfitter base bolts. Torque base
bolts to 19 lbs.-ft.
