12. COMMANDS SETTINGS
Remote commands are factory preset to a default text.
12.1 Status request
A specific SMS command is available to ask for system status.
Default settings can be modified by means of GsmSuite or by supervisors issuing the following
SMS:
+4,251,,SmsCommand,,,,,LogText
12.1.1 SmsCommand
The text that will be associated to this command when received within an SMS coming from
authorized users. Must be a single word, up to 14 characters long.

12.1.2 LogText
This text will be included in the log string issued when trace is active.
Default is
status request
12.1.3 Example
+4,251,5,status,,,,,,remote status request
Set SMS command to “status” and log text “remote status request”
12.1.4 Confirmation
Once Phonebook edit has been successfully done, device will send back an SMS specifying
assigned index, name and 7 markers to specify which fields are defined (
