AOPD failure
One AOPD has been interrupted.
All AOPD inputs that are not used must be
bridged:
AOPD 2: S21-S22, S23-S24
AOPD 3: S31-S32, S33-S34

During start up of the unit, the start button
must not be pressed.
The start button must not be pressed longer
than 3 s.

Protective operation

An operating mode with feedback circuit is
selected and the circuit connected to S41-S42
was not closed before activation of K1, K2.

Stepping operation
contact failure
The machine contact is not closed in initial
position (waiting for start condition).
With contact type 1 the machine contact was
not closed at the end of the required first
interruption of the AOPD.

Muting failure
(blocked AOPD)
The selected max. muting time has been ex-
ceeded (muting lamp on).

Muting failure
(lamp)
The muting lamp is not connected between
terminal 48 and terminals M1 and M2.
The required bridge is not connected between
terminals S41 and S42.
The muting lamp is defective.
The measuring circuit for the muting lamp is
defective, the unit has to be repaired.

Both contacts of the key switch to select the
number of steps are open.

Muting operation:
Override possible
Minimum one muting sensor is active, AOPD 1
is interrupted and the start button is pressed.
After 3 s with activated start button, the over-
ride is initiated for max. 12 s.
Stepping operation:
Waiting for intrusions
The unit is waiting for the required number of
interruptions of the AOPD so that the safety
relays can be activated.
maintenance and rePairs
The device contains no parts that require maintenance.
In case of failure, do not open the device, but send it to manufacturer
for repair.
