Printer Protocol
A printer protocol is available in the 500 Series. It provides the ability to
print out live data, individual logged data and to do some report-style
printing of logged data. The method of printing these and the format of the
printouts is described below.
Note: Printer output is only available if the Real Time Clock option is fitted.
The selection of Printer Protocol can be made for the Communications
Protocol options for the RS232 or RS485 port. A list of log report types and
printer types available at the end of the TM-LOG calibration menu.
Report Types
The list of report types is as follows:

REP-01 Hourly Logs Report
•
REP-02 Daily Logs Report
•
REP-03 Weekly Logs Report
•
REP-04 Monthly Logs Report
•
REP-05 Yearly Logs Report
•
REP-06 Previous Day Hourly Logs (0Hr – 23Hr, minimum 48
hourly logs required)
The number of logs printed in each report are determined by the values
programmed for each timebase in the TM-LOG menu.
Printer Types
The list of available printers is as follows:
•
PRN-01 Generic computer printer
•
PRN-02 Generic roll printer (printing first line first)
•
PRN-03 Slip Printer TM295
Customizing a Printout
A customized printout can be provided which can have up to 4 header lines
and 3 footer lines. It is also possible to include or exclude each main menu
items on the printout. If any customizing of the printout is required discuss
this with the distributor.
