Instrument Settings
Units of Measurement
The Units menu allows the units to be viewed and edited if necessary
without the reloading of new application software. Any change in units will
result in a full reset to initially downloaded settings. Therefore, any required
changes to units of measurement should be made before changing any other
settings.

The units for main menu or calibration items can be viewed by pressing
the
key.
The units of measurement are password protected. To edit the units the
correct password must be entered on entry to EDIT mode.

to select the required units. Refer to
on page 78 for the list of available units.
ACCEPT
UNITS
The Accept Units prompt will only appear if one or more of the units
have been changed.
IMPORTANT:
Accepting the change of units will initiate a master
reset. All calibration parameters will revert to their default value (i.e.
those values included in the downloaded instrument software). All totals
and any logged information will be cleared.
Press

to select YES, then press the
key. The instrument
makes three beeps to confirm the reset command.
The message -RESET- PLEASE WAIT will be displayed as the
instrument exits calibration mode and completes a full re-boot sequence.
