attend a class to obtain the proper certification.

INSTALLATION & OPERATION
1.
Apply pipe thread sealant to 1-1/4” male pipe thread.
2.
Make sure the valve is turned off before installation.
3.
Install the valve into a 1-1/4” tank port and tighten firmly.
4.
The B-1205 is a dual port dual shut off, hand wheel operated tank valve. Each shut off is isolated to the port it’s connected to. This
allows for a hose to be attached to the valve at the same time a filler valve can be used.
5.
The B-1205 is unique in the fact that each port can be opened and closed individually. This makes operating the valve safer.
However always be aware of the position of both shut offs are at when operating the valve.
6.
The B-1205 has a 45 GPM rated excess flow check and the B-1205-37 has a 37 GPM rated excess flow check.
7.
Before operating the valve make sure the appropriate hoses and valves are attached to the outlet side of the valve. Never open the valve
without appropriate hoses and valves downstream of the valve, doing so will release anhydrous ammonia into the air that could cause
sever injury.
8.
Before opening the valve turn off any down steam valve to prevent ammonia from spraying out into the air.
9.
To open valve turn hand wheel counter clockwise all the way until the hand wheel stops turning. NEVER OPEN VALVE
PARTIALLY, DOING SO WILL PREVENT THE EXCESS FLOW CHECK FROM FUNCTIONING PROPERLY.
10.
To close valve turn hand wheel counter clockwise and tighten firmly. NEVER LEAVE VALVE OPEN UNATTEDED OR WHILE
TRAVELING DOWN A ROAD. VALVE SHOULD ONLY BE OPEN WHILE IN USE.
11.
Make sure valve is facing the appropriate direction.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Check valve regularly for leaks and wear.
2.
If any threads on the valve are getting warned down replace the valve immediately
3.
If valve leaks from tank connection try to tighten the valve to stop the leak. If it continues to leak replace the valve.
4.
If valve leaks from the stem, seat or bonnet replace the valve or install repair kit A-22H-RK immediately.
