6. Software RAID Setup
This chapter describes software mirroring (RAID1) setup. We only support mirroring.
CONTEC only supports RAID1. Operations of all other RAID configurations (RAID0, RAID5,
RAID10) are not supported.
Be aware that functions not supported are outside the scope of the warranty.
If RAID settings are changed, all data on the hard disks will be erased.
Back up necessary data in advance.
Starting the setup screen
Before starting the RAID utility, set the AHCI device to RAID in the BIOS setup described
in Chapter 4. Press the <CTRL> and <I> keys on the following screen to start the RAID utility.
After a few seconds, the RAID utility can be started.

If the IDE device is not set to RAID in the BIOS setup, the above screen will not appear. The
above screen does not appear on displays other than that specified for Primary IGFX Boot
Display on the Graphics Configuration setting screen.
