Safety Precautions
Understand the following definitions and precautions to use the product safely.
Safety Information
This document provides safety information using the following symbols to prevent accidents resulting
in injury or death and the destruction of equipment and resources. Understand the meanings of these
labels to operate the equipment safely.
DANGER indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will
result in death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may
result in minor or moderate injury or in property damage.
Handling Precautions
- Be sure to check that power is not being supplied before connecting or disconnecting the power
cable.
- Do not modify this product.
- Be sure to turn the power off before removing or inserting the boards and cables.
- This product is not designed for use in applications that require a high level of reliability such as
equipment used in aviation, space travel, nuclear power, or medical care. Do not use this product
in these types of applications.
- Before using this product in applications related to safety such as devices used in trains, vehicles,
disaster prevention, or crime prevention, contact your retailer.
- Do not replace the battery with an inappropriate one, as doing so may lead to explosions.
- If the battery needs to be replaced, the product will have to be repaired. In this situation, contact
your retailer.
- When disposing of used batteries, do so properly as instructed by the local government. For
instructions on how to remove the battery, see the appendix.
