The signal input section consists of an Optocoupler isolated input (compatible with 

current sink output).    Therefore, driving the input section for the module requires an 

external power supply.   

When an external power supply other than 5V is used, insert a current-limiting resistor 

at position R.    If PV denotes an external power supply, the current-limiting resistor R 

can be calculated as follows:
