3. Hardware Setup

BX710 series User’s Manual

Hardware Setup

Before you start, be sure that the power is turned off.

Remove only those screws that are explained. Do not move any other screw.

Only 2.5 inches SATA hard disk can be installed to this drive bay.

Installing the Hard Disk

(1) Remove the hard disk bracket from this product.

(2) Install the hard disk (silicon disk) to the hard disk bracket. Then fasten it with four screws.

(3) Insert the HDD mounted bracket into the system unit and fasten them with screws.

CAUTION

When tightening the screws to fasten the HDD to the bracket or the HDD mounted bracket to the
system unit, do not use any tool such as an electric screwdriver, which vibrates the HDD. Not doing
so will damage the HDD.
