Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt dient als Buchleseleuchte. Als Leuchtmittel kommt eine sehr helle LED zum Einsatz. Das Produkt ist für
den Einsatz im Hobby- und im privaten Bereich vorgesehen. Es ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz geeignet. Eine
andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben ist nicht zulässig.

Lesen Sie bitte vor Inbetriebnahme die komplette Anleitung durch, sie enthält wichtige Hinweise
zum korrekten Betrieb. Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung verur-
sacht werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch! Für Folgeschäden übernehmen wir keine Haftung!
Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder Nichtbeachten der
Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keine Haftung! In solchen Fällen
erlischt jeder Garantieanspruch.
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Produktes
nicht gestattet.
Schützen Sie das Produkt vor extremen Temperaturen (< 0°C / > +50°C), Feuchtigkeit, Nässe oder starken mecha-
nischen Beanspruchungen.
Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug, es ist nicht für Kinder unter 14 Jahren geeignet (Verletzungsgefahr!).
Vermeiden Sie es, direkt in die LED-Lichtquelle zu sehen oder anderen Personen bzw. Tieren direkt in die Augen zu
leuchten. Aufgrund der Lichtstärke kann es zu Sehstörungen bzw. Augenschädigungen kommen.
Lassen Sie Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen. Plastikfolien/-tüten, Styroporteile, etc. könnten für Kinder zu
einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.

Anzeige- und Bedienelemente
Einlegen / Wechsel der Batterien
Batterien gehören nicht in Kinderhände. Lassen Sie die Batterien nicht offen herumliegen. Es
besteht die Gefahr, dass diese von Kindern oder Haustieren verschluckt werden (Lebensgefahr).
Suchen Sie im Falle eines Verschluckens sofort einen Arzt auf. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
Batterien nicht geöffnet, kurzgeschlossen, aufgeladen oder ins Feuer geworfen werden, es
besteht Explosionsgefahr. Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien auf die richtige Polung (Plus
und Minus beachten).
Benutzen Sie nur neue Batterien der richtigen Größe und des empfohlenen Typs. Setzen Sie nicht
alte und neue Batterien zusammen ein und benutzen Sie nur Batterien der gleichen Sorte und
Marke. Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Produkt für längere Zeit (einen Monat und län-
ger) nicht benötigen.
Ein Batteriewechsel ist nötig, wenn die LED der Buchleuchte nicht mehr
leuchtet oder stark an Leuchtkraft verliert. Öffnen Sie zum
Batteriewechsel das Batteriefach und legen Sie zwei Knopfzellen Typ
CR 2032 polungsrichtig ein (siehe Bild).
Bedienung
Klappen Sie die Buchleuchte auf. Befestigen Sie sie mit Hilfe des Clips am Buch. Richten Sie den Kopf der
Buchleuchte aus. Mit dem Schalter am Buchleuchten-Kopf wird das LED-Licht ein- bzw. ausgeschaltet. Stellen Sie
die Buchleuchte so ein, dass Sie blendfrei lesen können.
Reinigung & Entsorgung
Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch oder trockenen Pinsel. Entsorgen Sie das
unbrauchbar gewordene Produkt gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Vorschriften.
Entsorgung von gebrauchten Batterien/Akkus!
Sie als Endverbraucher sind gesetzlich
(Batterieverordnung)
zur Rückgabe aller gebrauchten Batterien
und Akkus verpflichtet;
eine Entsorgung über den Hausmüll ist untersagt!
Schadstoffhaltige
Batterien/Akkus sind mit Symbolen gekennzeichnet, die auf das Verbot der
Entsorgung über den Hausmüll hinweisen. Die Bezeichnungen für das ausschlaggebende Schwermetall
sind:
Cd
= Cadmium,
Hg
= Quecksilber,
Pb
= Blei. Ihre verbrauchten Batterien/Akkus können Sie unent-
geltlich bei den Sammelstellen Ihrer Gemeinde unseren Filialen oder überall dort abgeben, wo
Batterien/Akkus verkauft werden!
Sie erfüllen damit die gesetzlichen Verpflichtungen und leisten
Ihren Beitrag zum Umweltschutz!

Intended Use
The product as a light for reading books. A very bright LED is used as an illuminant. The product is intended for use
in the hobby and private sphere. It is not suitable for commercial use. Any use other than that described above is not
permitted.
Safety Instructions
Please read through the operating instructions completely before starting operation as they inclu-
de important information necessary for correct operation. The warranty will lapse in case of
damage caused by failure to comply with these operating instructions! We shall not be liable for
any consequential damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect hand-
ling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases the guarantee will lapse.
For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the product are not permit-
ted.
Protect the product against extreme temperatures (< 0°C / > +50°C), dampness, wetness or heavy mechanical
stress.
The device is not a toy and is not suitable for children and young people under the age of 14 (danger of injury).
Avoid looking straight into the source of light or shining it directly into the eyes of persons or animals. Due to the
brightness, disturbances to your sight can ensue.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. In the hands of children, plastic foil and/or bags and poly-
styrene parts etc. can turn into dangerous toys.

Display and operating elements
Inserting/replacing the batteries
Keep batteries away from children. Do not leave batteries lying around carelessly. There is the
risk that they are swallowed by children or domestic animals (danger to life). If swallowed, con-
sult a doctor immediately. Make sure that the batteries are not opened, short-circuited, charged
or thrown into a fire. There is the risk of an explosion! Make sure that the polarity is correct when
inserting the batteries (pay attention to plus and minus!).
Only use new batteries of the correct size and the recommended type. Do not use old and new
batteries together and only use batteries of the same type and brand. Remove batteries if you do
not require the product for a longer period (> 1 month)
It is necessary to replace the batteries if the LED of the book lamp no
longer lights up or loses its brightness noticeably. Open the battery
compartment to change the batteries and insert two button cells of the
type CR 2032 with the correct polarity (see illustration).
Operation
Unfold the book lamp. Fasten it with the aid of the clip on the book. Align the head of the book lamp. The LED lamp
is switched on or off by the switch on the book lamp head. Adjust the book lamp in such a manner that you can read
without being blended.
Cleaning and disposal
Clean the product only with a soft, slightly damp cloth or a dry brush. Once the product becomes unusable, dispo-
se of it in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
Disposal of flat batteries / accumulators!
You, as the end user, are legally obliged
(Battery Ordinance)
to return all used batteries and accumula-
tors.
Disposal in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/accumulators containing hazardous sub-
stances are marked by the opposite symbols. These symbols also indicate that it is prohibited to dispose
of these batteries in the household waste. The names of the heavy metals concerned are:

= mercury,
Pb
= lead. You can return flat batteries/accumulators free of charge to the collection points
in your community, our branches or anywhere else where batteries or accumulators are sold.
