1. Intended use
The product is designed to be connected to a USB port of a computer and serves as a webcam.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product for purposes other
than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together
with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If you do
not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no
liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.

• The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• When used in conjunction with other devices, observe the operating instructions and safety notices of connected devices.
• The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
• The product must not be exposed it to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration, dampness, strong magnetic
field or smoky environments.
• The software CD-ROM packaged with the camera is designed for PC only. To play this CD-ROM on a stereo or CD player
may cause damage it.
• This product consists of intricate electrical parts. To ensure normal images, do not drop or hit the camera when using it.
Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical support service or
other technical personnel.
4. Installing the webcam driver
Please read the manual included on the CD before installing the USB camera.
Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damages caused by improper operation.
1. Insert the webcam’s USB plug into a USB port on your computer.
2. Insert the camera software CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. The installation will start automatically. If not, call up your
CD-Rom directory and open the file “SETUP.EXE”.
3. Follow the instructions in the dialogue window and complete the installation.
Pop up message will appear, which mentions that software has not passed Windows Logo testing. For Windows
XP SP2 users, press “Continue Anyway”. For Windows Vista / 7 users, press “Install this driver software anyway”.
4. After the installation is complete, the camera should be ready to use.
5. Maintenance and cleaning
• The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any reason.
• To clean the lens, please use a lens brush or soft cloth to wipe and clean. Avoid touching the lens with your fingers.
6. Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist dafür vorgesehen, an die USB-Buchse eines Computers angeschlossen zu werden und dient als Webcam.
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) dürfen Sie das Produkt nicht umbauen und/oder verändern. Falls Sie das
Produkt für andere Zwecke verwenden, als zuvor beschrieben, kann das Produkt beschädigt werden. Außerdem kann eine
unsachgemäße Verwendung Gefahren wie zum Beispiel Kurzschluss, Brand, Stromschlag, etc. hervorrufen. Lesen Sie
sich die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch und bewahren Sie diese auf. Reichen Sie das Produkt nur zusammen mit der
Bedienungsanleitung an dritte Personen weiter.

• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie es von Kindern und Haustieren fern.

• Das Produkt darf keinem starken mechanischen Druck ausgesetzt werden.

• Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene CD-Rom mit der Anwendungssoftware ist ausschließlich für die Verwendung im PC
vorgesehen. Das Abspielen der CD-Rom über eine Stereoanlage oder einen CD-Spieler kann die CD-Rom beschädigen.
• Dieses Produkt besteht aus komplexen elektrischen Komponenten. Lassen Sie die Kamera bei der Verwendung nicht fallen
bzw. setzen Sie sie keinerlei Stößen aus, damit die Bilder in guter Qualität angezeigt werden.
Sonstiges
• Wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft, wenn Sie Zweifel über die Arbeitsweise, die Sicherheit oder den Anschluss des
Produktes haben.
• Lassen Sie Wartungs-, Anpassungs- und Reparaturarbeiten ausschließlich von einem Fachmann bzw. einer Fachwerkstatt
durchführen.
• Sollten Sie noch Fragen haben, die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung nicht beantwortet werden, wenden Sie sich an unseren
technischen Kundendienst oder an andere Fachleute.
4. Installation des Webcam-Treibers
Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung auf der CD, bevor Sie die USB-Kamera installieren.
Folgen Sie sorgfältig den Instruktionen, um Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Betrieb zu vermeiden.
1. Verbinden Sie den USB-Stecker der Webcam mit einem USB-Anschluss Ihres Computers.
2. Legen Sie die Software-CD der Kamera in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein. Die Installation beginnt automatisch.
Falls nicht, gehen Sie in Ihr CD-ROM-Verzeichnis und öffnen Sie dort die Datei „SETUP.EXE“.
3. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen im Dialogfenster und führen Sie die Installation durch.
Ein Dialogfenster öffnet sich, in dem darauf hingewiesen wird, dass die Software den Windows-Logo-Test nicht
bestanden hat. Falls Sie Windows XP SP2 verwenden, klicken Sie „Trotzdem fortfahren“ an. Benutzer von
Windows Vista / 7 klicken bitte „Treiber-Software trotzdem installieren“ an.
4. Nachdem der Installationsvorgang abgeschlossen ist, sollte die Kamera einsatzbereit sein.
5. Wartung und Reinigung
• Das Produkt benötigt keinerlei Wartungsarbeiten und sollte niemals auseinandergebaut werden.
• Benutzen Sie zum Reinigen und Abwischen der Linse bitte eine Linsenbürste oder ein weiches Tuch. Vermeiden Sie das
Berühren der Linse mit den Fingern.
6. Entsorgung
Elektronische Geräte sind Wertstoffe und gehören nicht in den Hausmüll.
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.
