INSTRUCTIONS

The hand tool will be standard equipped with the M10 anvil and M10
mandrel for Rivet nuts.
The other components will be stored separate in the carton box.

FIRST USE:

Make sure before using the tool that the anvil and the mandrel are
suitable for the thread of the insert to be used. Otherwise change it to
a different size.

CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT SIZE RIVET NUT:

Open the levers (2) Now Unscrew the anvil (5) and the lock nut (6). Turn/
Pull the turning nob (3) away from the tool. This way it will come loose,
and you will be able to withdraw the mandrel from the tool. Replace by
choosing the correct size from the spare parts in the carton box, and
re-assemble by following the above steps in the opposite direction.

To change into setting Rivet bolts, choose the correct size Rivbolt

puller, and combine it with the correct Anvil and lock nut.

ANVIL ADJUSTMENT:

After adjusting the stroke, is it necessary to adjust the anvil (5) and its
counter lock nut (6).
Open the levers completely. This way the mandrel will come out
completely. The protrusion of the mandrel out of the anvil should be as
long as the whole rivet nut. This to make sure the full thread of the rivet
nut will be used to set the rivet nut. Unscrew the counter lock nut (6)
and adjust the anvil (5) by turning left or right, to increase or decrease
the length. After the correct length is applied, screw the counter lock
nut until it is tight. Changing the threaded inserts or stroke requires this
step ever time.

C

SETTING A THREADED INSERT:

Put the tool in start position by opening the levers up to a maximum,
so that the mandrel will come out completely. Screw the insert on the
threaded end of the mandrel, and make sure it is completely tight. Now
insert it into the hole of the material. The hole size must be slightly
larger than the rivet nut. Check the specifications of the rivet nut to
be sure. Close the levers completely to set the rivet nut. Once the rivet
nut is set, unscrew the threaded insert by using the turning knob on
the mandrel.

STROKE ADJUSTMENT:

Close the levers completely and use the adjust nut to increase or
decrease the stroke. The higher the stroke, the higher the deformation
of the rivet nut will be, and vice versa.
The stroke is dependent on:
•  The grip range
•  The blind rivet nut
