Step 2
You now must make an entry for the Echo adapter in the file
space.c
. This entry tells the operating system about the Echo
adapter:

Change to
/etc/conf/pack.d/sio
directory and backup the file
space.c
.
2.
Open the file
space.c
with your editor. You will find listings
for many different serial adapters so search the list until you
find an entry for a Stargate adapter. The Stargate entries are
essentially compatible with the Echo adapter. This entry
should look like the following:
{2,STARGATE,8,4,8,(sd)0x280,0x280+STAR_POLL,8,
MCRBIT3},/*AT-Stargate*/
