2.3.5 Operation
NOTE:
• Max. 20 evenly distributed starts and stops, per hour at 60 seconds on/off time.
More frequent switching intervals can cause damage to the Conel Stream.
• The Conel Stream has a thermal overload protection according to EN 60947-
4-1, the thermal overload of the pump motor automatically switches off the
Conel Stream and a cooling time of approx. 15 minutes automatically switches
on again.

Piping systems can be under pressure and /or contain liquid (water).
Use of Conel Stream in sys-
tems with integrated pressure
vessels The operating regulations of pressure vessels are contained in the
Operational Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV). Observe the test periods
for the recurring inspections of pressure vessels by the operator of
the plant.
Maintenance and inspection
NOTE:
All repair work may only be carried out by CONEL GmbH , Margot-Kalinke-
Straße 9, 80939 München or authorized contractual partners, otherwise all war-
ranty/guarantee claims will be forfeited.
NOTE:
Modifi cations or repairs to the Conel Stream are only permitted if CONEL GmbH,
Margot-Kalinke-Straße 9, 80939 München has given its consent.
The manufacturer‘s consent is also required for other spare parts, except for the
original parts.
The manufacturer assumes no liability or warranty for personal injury or damage to
the Conel Stream, which has arisen as a result of the use of other parts.
Inspection
activities Deadly electric shock possible:
• All inspection activities may only be carried out by professional and knowledge-
able personnel who have been suffi ciently informed by studying the operating
instructions in-depth;
• Before starting the activities, switch the Conel Stream without voltage and
secure it against unauthorized or unintentional re-engagement;
• Release any existing piping pressure before starting the activities and, if
necessary, drain the liquid (water). This also applies to inspections of the entire
system in which the Conel Stream is integrated.
• The operating regulations of pressure vessels are contained in the Operatio-
nal Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV). Observe the test periods for the recurring
inspections of pressure vessels by the operator of the plant.
Cleaning acti-
vities Damage to the Conel Stream possible:
• If the Conel Stream is not operated for a longer period of time, we recommend
to shut off the drinking water pipe with a ball valve.
