RECALIBRATION OF RESIDUAL HARDNESS
Due to the difference in the composition of tap water, the set residual hardness may possibly not be
reached. In this case, the regulation of residual hardness can be adapted to suit the water quality.
For example, if you have set a residual hardness of 6 °dH, but the residual hardness actually measured
8 °dH, the adjustment can be carried out as follows:

By pressing
the measured actual hardness is decreased and by pressing
increased.
The increment is 1 °dH.
The set value of the measured actual hardness is saved by pressing <OK>.
From this information, the control unit determines the required residual hardness correction value.
The residual hardness correction will be reset if all user-defined settings are reset to the factory settings
(see chapter 6.13 “RESETTING TO FACTORY SETTINGS”).

The re-calibration of the residual hardness is indicated by a small “1” at the end of
the first line of the display.
