INSTALLATION
5.1
GENERAL
The heating circuit filling station must be installed in horizontal pipes used as feeding lines for the heating
system.
The pipes must be designed to reliably withstand the weight of the heating circuit filling station. Otherwise
mechanical damage up to and including breaks can result. This can result in severe water damage.
Should such an event occur, persons in the vicinity of the heating circuit filling station are exposed to a risk
of injury of harm because of the large water volumes that could escape.
For this reason pipes must, where necessary, be provided with additional fastenings or support.
Ensure through structural means that the operating temperature of 30 °C is not exceeded
in the heating circuit filling station.
5.2
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PLACE OF INSTALLATION
/
The installation room must be dry and free from frost. It must not be possible for unauthorised persons
to access the room.
/
The heating circuit filling station must not be subject to severe impacts.
/
A shut-off valve must be installed upstream of the heating circuit filling station. This allows the water
supply to be disconnected for heating circuit filling station maintenance, repairs or in case of malfunc-
tion. Likewise flooding and severe water damage to household furnishings and equipment can be
avoided in this way.
/
The heating circuit filling station can be installed in all commercially available drinking water pipes.
/
Installation of the heating circuit filling station upstream of the water meter is forbidden.
Installation must only be performed by suitably qualified technical personnel.
chapter 4.1 “INTENDED USE” must be observed without fail!
To ensure fault-free operation, observe the following requirements:
Always install the heating circuit filling station in an upright position (± 5°)!
If this is not observed, the pump may not function correctly.
