(REMOTE:) Local
Remote Mode: press ENT
for local mode, or CLR
Press
[ENT]
to switch to Local Mode to continue with your task, or press
[CLR]
to exit the task
and remain in the active mode.

When you select Local mode, remote monitoring is possible, but
remote control is disabled.
2.
A number of operations are possible in Local mode only. If you are in
Serial or Ethernet mode during such tasks, the unit alerts you to this
remote state.

Serial Mode = RS-232

On the top line, use the

RS-232

RS-485
.
On the bottom line, set the Serial address (
Addr
). Use the

arrow keys to select a digit,
and then the

arrow keys to change its value. The valid range of addresses is from

.
Next, set the
Baud
rate. Use the

arrow keys to select the parameter, and then the

Finally, set the asynchronous character format. Use the

(REMOTE:) ETHERNET
The LBC-4000/-ST L-Band Up/Down Converter System, as initially released,
does not feature a rear panel ‘10/100 ETHERNET’ port. Only current production
units offer Ethernet Interface operation. See Chapter 4. REAR PANEL
CONNECTORS for more information.
