Use Template (G) to drill Ø3/16”center pilot hole only in panel at
desired lock location (Fig 1).

Drill Ø3/4”hole through pilot hole (Fig 2).

Install Lock (D) through Gasket (H) and Ø3/4” Panel hole (Fig 3).
Assemble Mounting Plate (F) and Stud (C) and secure with Nut
(B) (Fig 4). Note: Stud (C) should have slight “wobble” when nut
(B) is tightened against Mounting Plate (F). Assemble Washer (J)
as needed to front side of Panel for irregular hole size or back
side of Panel as spacer for Panel thicknesses less than .250”.
DO NOT USE unless necessary.

Use tip of Stud (C) to mark location of Quick Nut assembly in
header (Fig 5). Place center hole of Template (G) against mark in
header and mark (2) screw hole locations (Fig 6).
5.
Drill center hole in header Ø7/8” Minimum. Drill (2) Ø3/16” screw
holes in header (Fig 7)
6.
Mount Quick Nut Assembly to back side of header using (E)(2)
#8-32 Screws & (2) #8-32 Nuts (Fig 7).
