Connecting the Video Signal Cable
To connect the VGA analog or DVI-D (Digital Visual Interface-
Digital) cable to the corresponding connector on the back of the
monitor, you must first remove the monitor base cover.
Note: For the digital input to function, the VGA cable must be
disconnected from the monitor. If both VGA and DVI-D cables
are attached, the monitor will default to the VGA input.
WARNING: Before beginning to disassemble the monitor, be sure
the monitor is turned off and the power and signal cables are both
disconnected.
Note: The DVI-D cable supplied with this monitor is for digital
to digital connection only. Your computer must have a DVI-
compatible graphics card installed for use with this cable. When
connecting the DVI-D signal cable to the DVI connector on the
monitor, you must connect the other end of the DVI-D cable to
the DVI connector on the computer.
1. Lay the front bezel down on a soft area to prevent it from
getting scratched, defaced, or broken.
2. Remove the cover plate from the monitor base by placing
your fingers in the opening on the bottom of the base and
pulling upward, then pulling out to remove the cover.
3. Remove the back panel from the monitor by pushing the
bottom tabs upward and pulling out to remove the panel.
