10-BIT DIGITAL VIDEO WITH
ONE BI-DIRECTIONAL DATA CHANNEL
The FVT/FVR109A series is a video transmitter/receiver and data transceiver
that supports the simultaneous transmission of short haul quality 10-bit EIA
RS250C digital video, bi-directional serial data, up-the-coax data and contact
closure over one multimode or single mode optical fiber. Contact closure is
not supported with the FVT109A-M small size unit.
The module is universally compatible with major CCTV camera manufacturers.

for RS232, RS422, 2 or 4-wire RS485 and Manchester and Bi-Phase data
transmission.
The FVT/FVR109A also supports up-the-coax data with ComNet’s unique time-
based correction (TBC-UTC). This feature provides PTZ camera control beyond
the normal distance limitations associated with up-the-coax data. TBC-UTC
allows camera control over the entire optical link budget.
Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining
equipment operating status.

The FVT109A and FVR109A units are interchangeable between stand-alone or
card mount configurations. The FVT109AM is stand-alone only. See
