Call request in PABX mode

The dialling sequences and telephone numbers have to be configured as described at

“Activate di-

alling sequence” on page 15

.

The telephone interface has to be configured as control desk at

Subscriber > Control Desks

.

For the calling station, a call request has to be configured to the telephone interface at

Subscriber

> Call Request

.

For a calling input, an input message has to be configured to the telephone interface at

Inputs >

Input message

If a calm-down message shall be put out at the calling station after initiation of a call request, an ap-
propriate configuration in CCT 800 is required (

see “Calm-down message for call requests” on

page 18

)

Phone call by dialling manually

To set up a phone call by dialling the telephone interface manually, no particular configuration in CCT
800 is required. At the Intercom station, simply the call number of the telephone interface and the tele-
phone have to be dialled.

NOTE: Telephone numbers and Sequences

Entries made in the columns

Telephone numbers

and

Sequences

(in PABX mode) only have an

effect on call requests or input messages

(

see below

).

NOTE: Further information

For further information on call requests, see manual “

Intercom Server Configuration

”.

ATTENTION: Input messages

If the indication of input messages via buzzer is deactivated, no call

is initiated to the telephone

(

Inputs > Input message >

tab

 Call types

).

NOTE: Dialling the telephone interface manually

To simplify the dialling of the telephone interface, the following options are available:

If only certain Intercom stations shall use the telephone function, the number of the telephone inter-
face has to be defined as direct dialling for the desired button at

Subscriber > Direct Dialling

.

If all Intercom stations shall use the telephone function, the best way is to change the call number of
the telephone interface to the desired digit or code at

 Subscribers > Naming

. If e.g. the call number

of the telephone interface is changed to “7”, all Intercom stations can use the telephone function by
pre-dialling
