Planning Information
The interface G8-S0 (for GE 800) and the G3-S0-I (for GE 300) can be used either as
Network Card
With the network card up to 100 Intercom Server housings GE 800 or GE 300 can be connected over
ISDN with dial up connection. The whole network can be configured over one Intercom Server housing
(after configuration of the S0-connections).
Telephone Interface
The ISDN Telephone Interface can be used for following functions:
Auto Dialler Mode
PABX Mode
The auto dialler mode is used for transfer of calls and call requests/input messages (central
control calls) into the public telephone net.
The telephone numbers to be dialled can be configured as desired.
It is also possible to dial from any telephone into the Intercom Server; Intercom functions can be
carried out with the DTMF keyboard of the telephone.
After the number of the telephone interface has been dialled, any desired telephone number in
the telephone network can be called
For any telephone in the telephone network it is possible, to dial into the Intercom Server by
dialling the call number of the telephone interface; Intercom functions can be carried out with the
DTMF keyboard of the telephone.
