“Call park” function
In order to avoid that the cell call is cancelled after it had been answered, this call can be “parked” by
pressing button
3
at the control desk. Therefore, the call will be kept at the control desk (but without
an acoustical buzzer signal). By pressing
X
, a conversation can be built up again. When the conversa-
tion is cancelled with
X
or
F
, the “call park” function is cleared.
Attendance function
The key switch in front of the prison cell activates the function “attendance”. The key switch has to be
connected to two inputs at the EB8E4A (“E1” to “E8”).
The system cancels an initiated officer emergency call (with “cancel on site” and “clear emergency call
only after acknowledgement”) by activating the attendance function only when already a conversation
to the respective inquiry station had been built up.
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800 to activate the function “attendance”:
Select
Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A > # - Station # > Security
>
tab
Key-switch
.
In the drop-down list
Key-switch
, define the required option of the two previously selected inputs
for “attendance 1” and “attendance 2” (“Key-switch (standard)”, “Key-switch with Flag-contact”,
“Key-switch with attendance lamp”, “Key-switch with Flag and attendance”, “Key-switch (push but-
ton)”, “Key-switch (push button) with Call Park output”, “Key-switch (push button) with attendance
lamp” or “Key-switch (push button) with Flag and attendance”).
In the drop-down list
Simulated input no.
, define the inputs (“IN1” to “IN3”) for the input message
to which the attendant contacts for the call park lamp or attendance lamp are connected.
In the drop-down list
Attendance monitoring [sec]
, define the time in seconds after which the sys-
tem has to initiate an officer emergency call at “attendance 2”.
Select the option “none” for the input “attendance 1”, as there will be no officer emergency call
initiated automatically.
For the input “attendance 2”, select the required time in seconds after which an officer emergency
call has to be initiated automatically (“15”, “30”, “120” or “180”).
Define any unused input for the initiation of an officer emergency call after a beforehand-defined
time (without an additional call button). This input has to be configured with the function “officer
emergency call”. For further information regarding the configuration of officer emergency calls,
”Officer emergency call” on page 13
Note:
For activation of the “call park” function with button
3
, no configuration is required.
Note:
The key switch can be switched into two different positions:
“Attendance 1”: The system gets the information that an attendant is present in the cell.
“Attendance 2”: The system gets the information that an attendant is present in the cell. Additionally, a
timer will be activated, so that an attendant must make a report to the control desk in the defined time,
otherwise the system initiates an officer emergency call automatically.
Note:
For the activation of a call park lamp and/or an attendance lamp, the required option with the respective
additional instruction (e.g. “… with Flag-contact”) has to be selected in the drop-down list
Key-switch
.
